Day 4 πŸ” After 2 days of intense activities, we headed over to Telluride where gondola rides are free(!) and take you all the way over the mountain to another beautiful village with restaurants, a large outdoor climbing boulder that all of our guys jumped on (also free), and a few shops. The gondola ride was a definite highlight!
Day 3. πŸ” We started the day with a sunrise Bible study on the balcony (last photo). It was not easy for me to get up at 5:45, but there was an added sweetness to discussing scripture together as the colors of the sky blended and light slowly crept across the mountains and treetops.
Day 2. πŸ” Rather than believing that family vacations expire once our children hit their teens, we make plans each year for adventure amongst stunning backdrops and have found they count down the days just as we do.
Experiences over things ~ this has long been one of our parenting mottos.
Dan lacked the support and example of a loving father, but has humbly clung to God for guidance in how to be an intentional father.
Many mamas ask what curriculum to use as they start their homeschool journey, but friends, I believe there’s a danger of missing out on a life-giving and wonder-filled education when we start simply with this question.
