There are women who courageously defy the darkness because their very lives shout, “There is another way.”
This weekend feels like a big step into womanhood for my Elle. She’s always dreamed of being a home educator and I’ve long dreamed of bringing her with me to a Wild + Free homeschool conference and today’s the day! 🎉
I don’t know if it’s the years of infertility, babies lost, or simply a heightened awareness that has swelled in me over the years of mothering, but I increasingly long to celebrate life with my children, to relish in the sweetness of these passing years. Do you feel it too?
It can be tempting to feel like we need the fancy curriculum or class, but does any lesson beat a loving parent simply sharing from their experience (with maybe a little help from YouTube)? 😉
“And then I turned again to that other world I had taught myself to know, the world that is neither past nor to come, the present world where we are alive together and love keeps us.”
We all have to decide what voice we will listen to.
