“What are some of the things you did with your children early on that are paying dividends as they get older?”
It’s Springtime cousin camp, so the cousins get to join us in our lunchtime picnics and reading in the front yard, and Ellie and I have overheard them over the last few days as they’ve visited the Shire, Narnia, and had to survive in the wild as lost children. 😁😍🌼
Jesus is alive!!!!
“But,” (regarding my last post), “how will your daughter support herself without a degree?”
As I’m planning the remainder of Ellie’s high school years with her, we’re looking into financial planning courses instead of geometry, photography and meal planning rather than chemistry, health and methods of education over physics. And of course a long list of the best books.
Hey friends, I have so much on my heart to share - on raising teens, on how the enneagram has truly helped in my parenting(!), on heartfelt discipline, on questions you have sent in. There’s so much I don’t know, but I love to share what God has laid on my heart from our experiences.
